Beall’s has immediate openings for Loss Prevention Supervisors working at our Corporate Headquarters and Distribution Centers located in Bradenton, Florida. This is a full-time position requiring flexible hours including weekends.

Report To: Loss Prevention Manager
Assists management in the implementation, coordination and administration of the company Loss Prevention policies, programs, and practices within the Corporate Headquarters and Distribution Centers. It also includes responsibility for reduction of financial loss through training, Loss Prevention audits and theft prevention.
Responsible for the recruiting, hiring, direct supervision, training, and scheduling of qualified Loss Prevention Officers at multiple operating locations
Ensure that all Loss Prevention posts are covered with Loss Prevention Officers to successfully accomplish all required duties for the shift and facility
Responsible for leading the shift in safe-guarding the facilities and property for unauthorized and illegal access, vandalism, fire and theft
Responsible for leading the shift in ensuring the proper management and security of all inbound/outbound trailers
Responsible for responding to and coordinating the recovery efforts for emergencies, alarms and incidents that occur during assigned shifts
Responsible for assigning and directing work assignments, addressing complaints, partnering with leaders of other business units and resolving problems
Ensures the successful and professional performance of all Loss Preventions Officers, conducts tours of all areas of responsibility and provides Officers with continuous training and development
Promotes team building and partnerships
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Conducts surveillance and internal investigations
Documents and reports Loss Prevention Incidents and Accidents
Maintains shift logs
Maintains strict control of property access
Conducts shrink awareness training to prevent internal theft
Conducts tours, fire, safety, and physical security inspections
Monitors Closed Circuit Television System, alarm systems, and access control systems
Responsible for inbound/outbound trailer security, management and seal control
Position Requirements (minimum):
2 or more years Loss Prevention Supervisor or supervisory experience
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with co-workers, business unit partners, associates, customers and others encountered during the course of the business day.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear in order to present or gather information from associates and/or customers.
Experience with CCTV, Alarm Systems, and Access Control Systems preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
Able to withstand walking and standing for long periods of time
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work flexible work hours including nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours/shifts
Valid FL driver’s license is required
