HR Support Specialist – Bealls Inc.



To assist the HR Services Manager in all aspects of HR compliance related functions including screenings, Adverse Action and I-9’s.   



Extensive interaction with corporate and store employees/candidates.



  • Print and process all consumer reports for HR Services Manager to review.
  • Review Adverse Action packets for correctness, sent to hiring location/candidate and notify the hiring location.
  • Review SSN to Crim for possible information verifications.
  • Notify managers of eligibility to hiring pertaining to background and drug screening.
  • Answer calls and emails from stores regarding the ATS, I-9 program, backgrounds & drug screens.
  • Submit promotions screenings and random selection drug screens.
  • Manage all locations and users within the I-9 program.
  • Complete invoices as requested.
  • Sort HR mail and deliver.
  • Maintain the HR Departments office supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



  • High School Diploma required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and use of the Internet.
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.        
  • Two to four years of work related experience is preferred.



  • Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing and physical ability to perform essential job duties.
  • Must have full body rotation (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, etc.)
  • Must be able to lift at least 10 lbs.
