Overview

Live Observation Control Center Operator

 

Function: The monitoring of audio and video remotely from
BDS and Outlet store operations from Bealls video monitoring center.  Perform in store Loss Prevention work as
required

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions):

  • Develop and execute video monitoring strategies using company approved equipment and procedures.
  • Detection, investigation and documentation of theft and other violations of law and/or company policy.
  • Prepare written reports as required.
  • Represent the Company in court testimony as needed.
  • Report daily on all significant activities to the Manager of the LOCC.
  • Maintain a professional and safe work environment while performing duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must have full hand and arm usage to operate equipment, such as CCTV cameras, computer, and writing instruments.
  • Must have full body rotation and movement.
  • Must have ability to climb ladders.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds with little or no difficulty.
  • Must have adequate vision to depict accurate details of incidents and circumstances.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills necessary to accurately record incident report details and circumstances.
  • Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to travel overnight.
  • May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent and demonstrate a 12th grade level of reading and writing proficiency.
  • Must possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Must demonstrate sound decision making and judgment and be able to remain calm in stressful or critical situations.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Must possess a valid Drivers License.
