Bealls Summer Intership - 2018 

 

Summer interns will have an opportunity to actively participate in meaningful projects and assignments in one of the following areas: Buying, Planning, Marketing, Loss Prevention, Human Resources, Distribution, IT, Accounting and Finance. Interns will participate in a weekly touch base and performance feedback session with their respective manager and/or mentor. They will also attend a weekly leadership training meeting. A formal performance appraisal will be conducted at the conclusion of the program. This is a 10 week program in most cases. The internships will be located in our corporate office in Bradenton, Florida.

 

 

Examples of duties will include:

 

  • Data analysis and entry
  • Help design and create business reports via Excel and PowerPoint
  • Work on special projects
  • Interact with stores and vendors
  • Correspond with stores via phone and email
  • Attend and participate in business meetings
  • Interact with various levels of corporate executives

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, preference given to those enrolled in Business/ Finance/ Accounting/ Human Resources/ Marketing/ IT/ Logistics/ Criminology/ Merchandising
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently on projects
  • Ability to handle time sensitive and confidential information

 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Hours per Week: 40
