Store Analyst – Beall’s Stores
We strive to hire the best and brightest as we expand and open new stores, adding new members to our existing team. If you are interested, you must be adaptable, hungry, motivated and smart! This position is an entry level opportunity for a college graduate to join the team and learn the business. You will work with the Planning & Allocation team and collaborate with our Merchandise Buyers within the organization.
As a Store Analyst, you must be a driver, who can effectively manage and plan your business, in order to achieve the company’s financial objectives. As a Store Analyst with our organization, you will be responsible for maximizing sales, margin, and inventory by controlling and allocating the department’s unit inventories by optimizing and balancing the assortment at store level. You will build optimum store inventories through allocation of purchases order quantities and store to store transfers, maintain accurate open to ship via analysis of historical data, identify opportunities/challenges such as merchandise assortments by store/region/group, advertising topics, new vendors, competitive affects, and margin.
In this role you will form a foundation for effective allocation decisions by analyzing store trends, market variations, competition and selling patterns (e.g. time of year, vendor, price-point, customer demographics). You will visit stores on a monthly basis in order to gather information in order to evaluate effectiveness of assortment and allocation decisions, and to seek store input for future decisions.
