Digital Marketing Manager – Beall’s/Burkes Outlet Stores

 

 MANAGEMENT:

  • Spearhead a comprehensive digital marketing roadmap that raises brand awareness, increases customer acquisition and effectively drives existing customer profitability both in-store and online
  • An innovative thought leader who will answer key questions such as how to communicate and facilitate the brand’s ability to be experienced through digital interactions, and how these digital interactions fit into the broader customer experience
     

OPERATIONS:

  • Oversee the digital marketing strategy for Beall’s / Burkes Outlet stores including but not limited to email program, SEO and PPC, Social media and affiliate marketing
  • Apply a deep knowledge of digital marketing, the off-price retail space and its competitive landscape, to deliver effective digital marketing recommendations

DUTIES OF THE DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER:

  • Devise strategies to drive traffic to the company website and store locations
  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns
  • Conceive and execute online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce and CRM teams to define and interpret online analytics. Leverage insights to drive strategy and make effective decisions
  • Adept at using Web analytic tools to measure site traffic to better optimize marketing campaigns, email marketing, social media and display and search engine advertising
  • Partner with e-commerce team on improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website
  • Partner with the Creative Services Group to ensure on-time, consistent brand messaging. Ensure that offline promotions and digital promotions are cohesive and provide a seamless customer experience between offline and online
  • Manage a Social Media Coordinator and partner with the brand’s Digital agency to oversee the social media strategy for the company
  • Plan and manage digital media budgets 
  • Develop digital media calendar ensuring that projects are on time and cost-effective/on budget
  • Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data to improve digital marketing effectiveness 
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
  • Oversee 3rd party digital agencies, including email service provider, SEM agencies, affiliates, and others

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8-10 years of strategic and executional responsibilities in digital marketing or e-commerce required
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA in Marketing or equivalent experience in online marketing preferred
  • Excellent manager of people with strong leadership, associate development, and team-building skills
  • Must be exceptionally organized with superior time-management and planning skills. Adapts easily to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills required
  • Strong Excel skills, ability to create ecommerce performance reporting ROI / ROAS, conversion rates, AOVs, and other key metrics
  • Efficiency in Tableau a plus
  • Deep understanding of Google Analytics
  • Experience managing PPC, SEO, Email marketing, Social media and Affiliate programs
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practices
  • Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role
